Recovery Benefit Rider (RBR)
Under
the Recovery Benefit Rider (RBR) the company will pay the
Face Amount of the rider if the insured suffers from one
of the following diseases;
1. Heart Attack
2. Coronary Artery Disease requiring by-pass surgery
3. Stroke
4. Cancer
5. Renal Failure
6. Blindness due to illness
7. Organ Transplant
8. Multiple Sclerosis
9. Paralysis.
The
Recovery Benefit Rider coverage begins six months after the
issue date of the policy. The benefit will be payable only
if the insured is alive after the expiry of 14 days from the
date of diagnosis or surgery for the conditions listed above.
The
coverage can be taken for terms of 5, 10, 15 or 20 years.
The minimum age at entry for the Recovery Benefit Riders is
20 years nearest birthday. The maximum age of entry for the
Recovery Benefit Rider is 60 years nearest birthday and the
coverage will automatically expire when the insured reaches
the age of 65 years nearest birthday or the policy expiry
date which ever may come first.
The minimum amount that the Recovery Benefit Rider may be
taken for is Rs.75,000/-. The maximum amount can be up to
75% of the baric face amount. The face amount for the Recovery
Benefit Rider can not exceed Rs.1,000,000/-.;
